We have a quilt top! The Mix and Match quilts are finally coming together. As mentioned in prior posts on this project, the quilts are machine pieced. Mine is made from mostly vintage fabrics. Mid's quilt uses newer fabrics including some batiks.
Next Steps will be to make the biased tape for binding. Then my quilt will be layered, pin basted, hand basted then we will see what happens with machine quilting. I have used a lot of old fabric and my machine quilting skills are improving. Mid's has completed quilting on hers and is ready to make and apply the binding. I will update with a picture soon.
We are almost finished!
