Gelato Quilts are finished!

I will add photos of both Gelato quilts soon! 

The challenge with this pattern was finding the fabric, trying to understand the pattern instructions, which were a bit confusing in some areas and so many Kona Cotton strips. I love Kona Cotton and there are so many pretty colors, it does ravel quite a bit. 

Another “sisters” quilting project finished!

    Making this quilt challenged us. Good thing we sew already and were able to problem solve the corner blocks.

    I enjoyed this challenge. The birds are the focus of this quilt. Color arrangement was a bit of a challenge.
    The purple is the standout color to me. I had to use a few blue peacocks because I didn't have enough of the pink/red to use. Blended in well because of all the colors involved.

    I am thinking of posting close up of some of the birds because it is hard to see the bird prints in the picture. They make the quilt.
