The Friendship Knot Quilt is very different than anything that Mid and I have done so far. I like the fabrics, the curves and the off balanced placement which gives it a modern touch. The instructions are loosely stated so you're more or less, on your own with matching colors.
We will see how it turns
out.

A very different quilt design!
ReplyDeleteThis is the most unique design we've done yet.
ReplyDeleteI think the arrangement of the blocks will make a difference in how it looks, as well as the background, when it's all put together. Right now I'm not sure that I like it yet.
Most of the squares will be completed by next week then we can move on to the background squares. Hopefully we will like it better once we get to that part.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that when sewing curves, my dressmaker pins can get stuck. They are really too short for pinning and sewing curves. My quilting pins are not that great so I need to invest in some better ones!
